Originally dating back to 1850, Villa Lucchesi underwent a full renovation in early 2015. The villa was re-opened by new owners in April, offering a luxurious boutique style bed and breakfast accommodation in the historic Tuscan spa town of Bagni di Lucca.

The villa features a tranquil garden and spacious, elegant rooms with views of the surrounding hills. The owners Irina and Mimmo come from an international background and look forward to welcoming guests from all over the world – they are passionate about creating a warm and friendly atmosphere and providing an outstanding level of hospitality.

Bagni di Lucca is nestled at the foot of the Apennine mountain range between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna, surrounded by quaint and picturesque villages. It is the largest mountain commune in Italy, lying in the beautiful green valley of the river Lima.

Bagni di Lucca itself was the playground of royalty and nobility in the 19th century. Many famous writers and musicians visited and stayed here, including Byron, Shelley, Puccini, Strauss and Paganini. Much of the charm and elegance of this bygone era still remains in this unspoiled area – including the first Casino in Europe, which has been beautifully restored.
